Charles Macowin Tuttle
Biography
(American, b. 1861 - d. 1935)
Charles Macowin Tuttle was an engraver and illustrator born in Muncie, Indiana in 1861. He died in Buck Hill Falls, Pennsylvania in 1935. He was also active in New York during his career. Four of his works are featured in the Smithsonian American Art Museum. He appears in the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of American Art, Inventory of American Paintings Executed before 1914.
