Barbara Heimann

Biography

(American b. 1943 - )

Born in Columbus, OH and trained in Cincinnati, Barbara Heimann is a modern impressionist painter whose work can be found in many corporate and private collections. She has a wonderful sense of color and imbues her brightly lit oil works with lavish layers of paint and texture. Her intimate knowledge of flowers shines through in both her landscape and still life works. Heimann studied at Central Art Academy, Art Academy of Cincinnati, and University of Cincinnati.
